Winners of 10th Local Edition of Orange Social Venture Prize 2026 Announced
Orange Jordan has announced the winners of the 10th local edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) for 2026, marking a decade of supporting entrepreneurs who turn innovative ideas and digital solutions into ventures with meaningful social and environmental impact. The announcement ceremony was attended by the CEO of Orange Jordan, Eng. Philippe Mansour, several members of the Executive Committee and employees, members of the jury, alongside a group of prominent experts and entrepreneurs in Jordan and media representatives.
During the presentation stage, 13 of the 162 applicants presented their projects to the jury; subsequently, 3 were selected as winners. Tareq Hamdan won first place and a cash prize of JD 4,000 for his project “Iris”, which develops renewable energy solutions aimed at reducing costs and reliance on traditional energy sources using solar and wind systems. For second place, Muath Al-Hasan secured the position with a prize of JD 2,500 for the project “SYNIRO”, which aims to improve road safety and the healthcare sector by utilizing artificial intelligence and smart technologies to promote safer mobility and reduce road accident risks. Meanwhile, Yara Al-Siddiq came in third, winning JD 1,500 for “PowerBlocks”, a project offering innovative solutions to make clean energy more accessible, efficient, and scalable for various users and applications. The three winners will also qualify for the international edition of the prize later this year, competing alongside entrepreneurs from 17 countries where Orange operates across the Middle East and Africa regions.
On this occasion, the CEO of Orange Jordan, Eng. Philippe Mansour, expressed his pride in reaching the 10th anniversary of the award locally, stressing that this journey reflects the company’s commitment to delivering on its promises and its belief in the ability of Jordanian youth to innovate and create a positive impact on society. He commended the three winners for qualifying for the international edition of the prize, hence unlocking new opportunities at both local and global levels. Eng. Mansour affirmed Orange Jordan’s continued efforts as the true responsible digital leader to empower youth through the Orange Digital Center and its programs aimed at fostering talent and developing skills.
During the ceremony, the jury members were recognized for their role in evaluating the projects and selecting the winners. They comprised the General Director of Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training, Dr. Aghadir Jwaihan, the CEO of INJAZ, Dr. Deema Bibi, the CEO of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), Eng. Nidal Bitar, the Board Member of the Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund (ISSF), Dr. Ashraf Bany Mohammed, and the Chief Corporate, Internal Communications, & Sustainability Officer at Orange Jordan, Eng. Rana Al Dababneh.
